Wincore 500 Series Windows and Doors
Wincore 500 Series Windows and Doors is a new construction product line with integral brickmould as well as an integral fin and J-channel. The added brickmould eliminates the need for additional trim accessories on brick or stone home installations. The Wincore 500 Series comes in double hung window, double slider, geometric window, picture window, single hung window, and sliding patio door. Wincore 500 Series Windows and Doors are available in the following exterior and interior colors: clay, tan, and white. Wincore 500 Series Windows and Doors are available in the following exterior laminate colors: black, bronze, and brown.
Wincore 500 Series Windows offer: a brickmould frame with an integral J-channel seamlessly fit with both brick and siding exteriors. Dual-paned glass unit can be ordered with optional Low E glass and an Argon gas fill to maximize energy efficiency. Insulating glass unit is set ½” into the sash to keep edges warmer. Frames and sash, welded at the corners, create strong, effective units. Weatherseals placed at key points around each sash increase weather performance by reducing air flow. The U-channel spacer system is more efficient than conventional box spacers because it raises the interior glass pane surface temperature and lowers conduction rates. To assist with quick installation, Series 500 windows are available with wood or Quick Trim™ cellular PVC jamb extensions — choose either 4-9/16″ or 6-9/16″ construction. Contoured grids are located inside the insulating glass unit for a smooth, easy-to-clean surface.
Wincore 500 Series Doors offer: a fusion-Welded Frame & Sash Panels Keep out air and water. Chambered Profiles Honeycomb, hollow chambers throughout the vinyl profiles provides increased strength as well as thermal efficiency. Reinforced Sash Profiles Add Strength and rigidity. Double-strength Tempered Glass Strength and overall performance is multiplied. Smooth and Quiet Operation Patented dual-tandem nylon wheels on a raised rail protects the wheels from dirt and debris, minimizes friction and makes for a smoother operation. Weatherseals Multiple lines of weatherstripping around each panel helps to ensure a weather-tight seal. 3/4” Low E glass and Argon gas-filled insulating glass unit helps maintain even temperatures inside the home.
